How to Make a Unicorn Tiara: Step by Step
There are many models of tiaras for you to choose from, but if you prefer you can create your own! It's very simple and will definitely be even more personalized and magical!
For this walkthrough you will need:
- Plain plastic tiaras
- White and pink fleece or felt
- filling fiber
- golden cord
- Plastic Ribbon in various colors (of your choice)
- Hot Tail Gun
The first step is to pack the plastic headband with the white felt or fleece. To do this, cut a strip of this material and as you wind it over the tiara, fix it with hot glue.
Then cut the ribbons to the size you prefer and tie them in the center of the tiara.
Then, cut a piece of fleece or felt to cover the ribbon knot. The size should be just enough to cover the node. To secure, glue with hot glue.
now, arrived the part of making the horn. To do this, cut the felt or fleece into a square (image 1). Fold it forming a cone and glue it with hot glue (pictures 2 and 3). Then stuff the cone with the stuffing (image 4).
Cut a piece of fabric in the round shape of the cone (image 5) and fix with hot glue (image 6).
Then, just hot glue the horn to the headband (at the junction of the knot and the ribbon.
To decorate the horn, tie it with the gold cord and secure it with hot glue.
Now for the unicorn ear, you need to cut it with a mold in two different sizes. With the larger felt, use white and for the smaller felt, use pink (image 1 and 2).
Hot glue the ears to each side of the headband (image 3). Then glue the smaller pink ears onto the white one (image 4).
And ready! You have your unicorn tiara to rock the next party!
